A little bit about my Leadership Style 💜

I always try to lead with courage and care. My style is grounded in trust, candour, and a genuine belief that leadership is about elevating others - helping people see the strengths they don’t yet see in themselves.

As I’m quite comfortable with complexity and not having all things figured out, as we step into ambiguity, I don’t rush to solve the problem at hand alone, unless it's crucial. Instead I create space for the team to ask the right questions, explore different paths, and feel safe challenging assumptions.

Some of the best outcomes I’ve seen came from teams who debated risk openly, but aligned around purpose. And I always lead by modelling the behaviour first. I believe that attitude is essential to how we can scale a human-centered design practice - not just by documenting it, but by living it out loud until it sticks.

I’m hands-on, especially in 0→1 environments, not just with design work but with shaping how we work. That means setting up rituals, systems, and DesignOps that bring flow to research, co-design, and delivery.

I don’t believe in heroics. I believe in clarity, collaboration, and building a team that knows when to move fast and when to pause, breathe, and think deeply.

That balance is what makes teams resilient, and it’s what keeps the design practice healthy as we scale.
